The unsolicited insinuations of a gossip create lifelong & inescapable suspicions. It’s hazardous to lend your ear!
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” (Prov. 27:17 ESV) Don’t surround yourself with yes-men, you need to be rubbed the wrong way.

Whatever we allow to occupy our mind controls us. Paul says in Philippians 2:5: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” This includes not only our intellectual capabilities but our will, disposition, and attitude. We can be “transformed” by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2), taking “captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).
