Am I producing Good fruit?

Matthew 21:19  Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He *said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered.

Matthew 3:8  “Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance;

Luke  e6:43  “For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit.

John 15:2  “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.

John 15:8  “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

John 15:16  “You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

I wonder how the Jews would respond if they understood the significance of the symbolic action Jesus took in Matthew 21:19? The bible tells us they will someday. Jesus was telling them that they were not bearing fruit for Him, and because they rejected Him, they would not see Him again until they received Him as their Messiah. I can’t do anything about them but I can do something about me, and individually they could also, and still can.  Jesus tells me that I am one of His and should bear good fruit because of this, I am one of His branches. Good trees bear good fruit. God has done a lot of pruning on me, but thankfully I am still a branch. Why should I be so concerned about producing good fruit? Because it glorifies God, and Jesus wants me to. If I am truly His and His Spirit is in me, shouldn’t I want to obey the purpose He has for me? It seems to me that nothing but good can be the result of producing good fruit for Jesus, and nothing but bad results by producing bad fruit. And what is this good fruit? the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law Galatians 5:22-23. Who is the originator of all this good fruit? My Lord and Savior. Thank you again Jesus for not expecting perfection from me, but helping me grow in you until the day of perfection with you.

Lord, I pray the fruit I produce will be pleasing to You.

Ephesians 5:9  (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
