THE TWEETED BIBLE

Text: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. (John 21:18)

Text: And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. (Genesis 22:9)

Text:  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)

Text: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. (Philippians 3:19)

Tweet: Have you learned what it means to be girded for death (John 21:18) ? It means to be bound to the altar as a living sacrifice (Genesis 22:9; Romans 12:1). It means conformity to Christ’s death; that is, readiness and willingness to die for Him as He died for you (Philippians 3:19)!
