THE TWEETED BIBLE

Text: Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.(Luke 17:3-4)

Tweet: God’s forgiveness, unlike His love, is not unconditional. It is contingent upon our repentance. Likewise, our forgiveness of others who have trespassed against us is contingent upon their repentance. If they repent, we must forgive! However, we, like God, are not obligated to forgive the unrepentant.
