THE TWEETED BIBLE

Text: For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10)

Tweet: The Apostle Paul understood, as few Christians do today, that only those seeking God’s approval rather than man’s applause will be found faithfully serving Christ in this Christ-rejecting world. As Martin Luther warned, faithful servants of Christ will so “boldly and bitterly anger the world” as to incite against themselves the world’s “scorn, persecution, and condemnation.” It all boils down to whether or not you’re willing to fall out of favor with fallen man in order to be faithful to the Master—Jesus Christ! Who are you living to please, yourself, others, or Christ?
