Having looked at the Bible’s importance in the establishment and exaltation of Western Civilization, as well as our own country, America, let’s spend the balance of this Year of the Bible talking about the unspeakable significance of the sacred Scriptures.

In Psalm 19:9-10, David wrote: “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.” Here, the famous Psalmist of Israel extols God’s Word as more valuable than gold and sweeter than honey. In other words, its value is inestimable and its savor delectable.
