To discard the Bible as God’s divinely inspired and infallible Word is to snuff out humanity’s only candle by which we see divine truth. It is to set ourselves adrift, without our God-given North Star, on a raging sea of human subjectivism. Tossed to and fro we are left to fend for ourselves as the individual captains of our own fate. Our shipwreck is inevitable and the rocky shoal that has eternally sunk multitudes of meandering mariners is fast approaching.
