SEPTEMBER 4

As we’ve proven over the last few days, the question of translations is a scholarly one. It is not a diabolical plot by sinister men bent on corrupting the Word of God. For the most part, biblical translators are men devoted to preserving God’s Word. They are devoted to the high idea of making it possible for the men of their generation to hear the clear and unadulterated Word of God. For faithfulness to so high a calling, they deserve something far better from the body of Christ than condemnation. After all, if it were not for them and their predecessors, neither you nor I would have a Bible to read today.
