Ephesians

Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Paul wrote about the believers walk in Ephesians 4:1-6:9. Then suddenly he writes about a different way for the believer to deal with the forces of the world.

Paul calls upon all believers his brothers and sisters in Christ to gain strength and power, not from themselves, but from the Lord.

To often men and women look to themselves to solve the problems of their lives. Relying on their own wisdom and knowledge to solve not only their personal problems, but the problems of the world at large. The pages of the Bible are filled with accounts of man who did it their own way and they always met with disaster in the end.

The only way to succeed in life is to rely totally upon the strength and power of God. To pray for God’s leadership in all we do. As brothers and sisters in Christ and heirs to the kingdom we have no other choice but to rely on God.

Dear Lord: Give us the power and strength to be able to follow you no matter were we are led. Allowing us to continue to share the gospel and to let people see Jesus in me.

In Jesus name I pray amen
