Jane Hulse shares her verse and some comments.
Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble” (ESV)
“That bare wall needs something, maybe a mirror or a picture,” my brother said. After he left, I remembered an old picture that I had. Maybe it was valuable like others I had seen on “Antiques Roadshow”! Did I have a treasure worth great value that I was not aware of in my house?
Yes, I have the greatest treasure of all – right in my house – God’s Word!
*He gives me direction when I don’t know what to do.
*He gives me comfort when my heart is heavy.
*He cleanses me when I stumble and sin.
*He promises to never leave me nor forsake me.
*He gives me a peace that the world can never give.
How thankful I am to have many copies and translations of God’s Word in my home. I wonder how many people today have this priceless treasure in their homes and are unaware of it. Or are they too busy to open its pages and discover all the wealth and blessings awaiting them.
