Matthew 7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged.
Romans 2:1 Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
John 12:47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.
Acts 13:46 And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
Jesus tells me not to judge, but do I? It’s easy to just sit with someone visiting with my mouth going full blast, and not thinking much about it. It is during times like this that I may say something that could be taken as judgment of someone (I hope) innocently. I pray I am getting past consciously judging others. Jesus in the flesh did not judge others, but at the end time He will. If Jesus didn’t do it, I am certainly not qualified to judge. According to the words of Jesus I have no excuse to judge. God has given me His guidelines for living to please Him. If I disobey His instructions I judge myself. How am I judged? By the word of God. I am so thankful God knows my heart because I cannot perfectly keep His commandments, but He knows my desire is to do so.
Lord, I am so grateful your Holy Spirit helps me stay on the narrow path with you because I would be lost otherwise.
