Matthew 24:32-26:5
King James Version (KJV)
32Â Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33Â So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34Â Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35Â Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36Â But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37Â But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38Â For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39Â And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40Â Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41Â Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42Â Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43Â But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44Â Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45Â Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46Â Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47Â Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48Â But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49Â And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50Â The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51Â And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
25Â Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2Â And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3Â They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4Â But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5Â While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6Â And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7Â Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8Â And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9Â But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10Â And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11Â Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12Â But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13Â Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
14Â For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15Â And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16Â Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17Â And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18Â But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19Â After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20Â And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21Â His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22Â He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23Â His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24Â Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25Â And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26Â His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27Â Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28Â Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29Â For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30Â And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31Â When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32Â And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33Â And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Â Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35Â For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36Â Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37Â Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38Â When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39Â Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40Â And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41Â Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42Â For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43Â I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44Â Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45Â Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46Â And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
26Â And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
2Â Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
3Â Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
4Â And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
5Â But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.
Matthew 26:14-16
14Â Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
15Â And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
16Â And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
Mark 13:28-14:2
28Â Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29Â So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30Â Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31Â Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32Â But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33Â Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34Â For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35Â Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36Â Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37Â And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
14Â After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
2Â But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.
Mark 14:10-11
10Â And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
11Â And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
Luke 21:28-22:6
28Â And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29Â And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30Â When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31Â So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32Â Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33Â Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34Â And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35Â For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36Â Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37Â And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38Â And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
22Â Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
2Â And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
3Â Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
4Â And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
5Â And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6Â And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
