Where can I go?

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 2:7  Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

John 10:30  “I and the Father are one.”

John 14:9  Jesus *said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

John 14:6  Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 14:26  “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Psalm 139:7  Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?

Where can I go? but to the Lord. There are only two eternal options in life, thankfully God drew me to Him, and gave me the choice. I could choose Him or choose Satan. Thank the Lord I made the right choice, and will spend eternity with Him. I discovered later that if I had rejected God, I would automatically choose Satan. Because of what Jesus did for me there is no other way to eternity with the Father, but through Jesus. In time I learned that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. I can’t explain it, but that is what the bible says. What logical reason could there possibly be for me not to choose God? It is clear in scripture that he created the universe and  everything in it, even His eventual adversary Satan. He then took some of what He created, and created man. God created everything including me. He owns me lock stock and barrel as the saying goes, and can do whatever He wants to with me. God’s own Word, the bible confirms the fact He is all powerful, sees all, knows all, and is present everywhere at the same time, awesome! I can’t hide from Him, He is everywhere I am, sees, hears,  and knows everything I think, say or do. He will do nothing but good for me, if I love Him, and I do. His word describes  blessings in my eternity with Him that takes my breath away. What does Satan have to offer?  He offers lies and deceit, as He did to Eve in the Garden of Eden. He offers destruction in this life, and eternal damnation with Him in Hell. All the evil in this world is Satan and the good, and love is of God, He is love. What other decision could I make that could be more beneficial to me.

Romans 8:28  And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Lord, where can I go but to You? Where else could I go that would please You? You are the only option that glorifies You, and benefits me.
