John 17:12 (KJV)

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Jesus kept the disciples while He was in the world. He lost none except Judas, and Judas’ betrayal was to fulfill Scripture. Jesus was faithful to God’s name, faithful in revealing God and lifting up His name to the disciples. Now He was leaving the world, so God had to take over. It was now up to God to keep them, and He would. God would keep the disciples as well as Christ did, for God was both faithful and able.

Today God continues to guard and protect all of the disciples. Using each individual to serve him and give them the opportunity to spread the Gospel throughout the lost world. Not only in their local community but through missionaries they can support and help send throughout the world. Sometimes were called to go other times we are called to send.

Dear Lord:

Thank you for continuing to guard and protect me as an individual and all my fellow disciples that is in the world. Give me the courage to follow you to the ends of earth or the resources to send others. But always give the wisdom to stay in the center of your will.

In Jesus name we pray amen.
