Love on another

John 13:34 – 35  “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 15:12 – 13 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. “Greater love has no one than this, than one lay down his life for his friends.

There is no question about the Love of Jesus for us, it is historically proven and will be proven by what he has done, is doing, and will be doing for us.  He died for every one of us, suffered and gave His life on the cross for us. If that doesn’t prove His love for us, and the fact He is our friend, nothing can. The question to ask yourself is, am I his friend? Would you be willing to do for Him and others what He has done for you. Look deep into the mirror of your soul, do you really love Jesus? This is the key for how successful you may be in your walk with Jesus. We can not truly do all he ask us to do, if we do not love Jesus. Jesus knows if we love Him or not, but how does He say we may know

John 14:23b-24.”If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me, does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.”

If we love Him we will keep His commandments, His commandments are many. How do you know what they are? Study the word of God, if you don’t know them you cannot keep them, and if you do not love Jesus you will not keep them. In the end there is no excuse for not keeping His commandments.
