James 4:7-10 (KJV) “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
Step two calls for Christians to draw near to God and repent. This is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. When the veil in the temple was ripped from top to bottom it gave every true Christian the opportunity to enter the very throne room of God. Not just in a special place or at a special time but anywhere and anytime.
We all so need to prepare ourselves for these specials times by not just reading the Bible but studying the scripture. Looking to God’s word as a way to commune with him, praying for god’s continuous leadership in our studies.
The world does not realize what they are missing. We can stand in the presence of God, the creator of the universe, the alpha and omega the very beginning and the very end. We have the opportunity to ask for forgiveness and be forgiven.
