I am a list maker. Every day I make of list of places to go, things to do. Every little minute is accounted for on my list, even the routine chores that must be done on a regular basis. Sometimes I put things on there I know I have to do and I don’t need to be reminded, but I list them anyway just so I have the satisfaction of crossing them off later!
There are two things wrong with this habit. Sometimes God has a different list for me and that’s okay. I just change the date on my list to the next day. The other fallacy with any list is that there is no item on the list that sets aside time for reading the Bible studying the Scriptures and praying. Now this should be the priority, it should be on the top of any list and it should never be put off until tomorrow.
